WQED-FM TO BE THE MEDIA SPONSOR FOR WVU KEYBOARD FESTIVAL

PITTSBURGH—WQED-FM 89.3 is the official media sponsor for West Virginia University’s Keyboard Festival to be held June 24–28 at the Creative Arts Center in Morgantown, WV. With the desire to gather together outstanding pianists, piano teachers and keyboard artists throughout the nation, the event will feature a variety of concerts, both classical and jazz.

On Friday June 28th, Jim Cunningham, host of the QED Morning Show, will broadcast live from WVU Keyboard Festival. From 6-9am, Jim will be live from Bloch Hall in the Creative Arts Center on the WVU Campus with guest interviews and live performances. At 2pm, Jim Cunningham will host a live broadcast of the Keyboard Festival’s Classic Competition Winner’s Concert in Bloch Hall.

Aside from competitions and concerts, the festival is also including clinics, workshops, master classes and piano teacher panel discussions.
