The Pittsburgh Passion Bring Home an Exciting Game against the Divas

PITTSBURGH –Despite the heat, the Passion offense and defense show great strength against the Divas beating DC 36-27. Wide Receiver, Rachel Wojdowksi has her seventh 100-yd receiving game for her Passion football career.

Wojdowski had 146 receiving yards, one offensive touchdown and one interception returned for a 37-yd touchdown. Passion Quarterback, Lisa Horton, had her third career 300-yd game with 303 yards and passing 4 TDs. This brings Horton to break a career high record of 22 touchdowns in one season.

The Passion defense was lead by Linebacker, Ebony Ivy with 14 tackles. Krystal Cozzo had one touchdown and 3 pass deflections against the Divas. Tia Montgomery had 12 tackles and Alex McAtee with 9 tackles.

Passion Kicker, Amy Fallon was 3 for 3 on extra points and 1 for 1 with her field goal against the Divas in the second quarter of the game.

The Pittsburgh Passion will play their last regular season game at home on June 8th against the Detroit Dark Angels, as they celebrate “Passion Alumni Night”. The Passion will start their journey to playoffs starting on June 15th. For more information, visit
