PITTSBURGH CATERER AND TOFFEE CREATOR TO HOST PILOT COOKING SERIES ON WQED
Sendall Style Premieres Thursday, June 27 at 8 p.m. on WQED-TV


PITTSBURGH—Chef-Host-Party Planner  Bob Sendall of All in Good Taste Productions and Toffee Taboo will host a pilot cooking series called Sendall Style produced by WQED Multimedia .

Premiering Thursday, June 27 at 8 p.m. on WQED-TV, the first of three episodes called Farm Fresh will take viewers to a small local farm for ingredients and show them how to prepare a sumptuous summer feast, offering helpful tips on planning, prep and recipes.

This beloved Spanish rice dish becomes the centerpiece for a summer evening get- together. Learn how to select the perfect seafood, mingle seasoning and serve this delicious dish to guests.

The centerpiece to everyone’s favorite all-American feast gets a makeover. Join Bob as he shows viewers how to “deconstruct” a turkey from wing to wishbone. Learn how to prepare delicious sides, create special decorations and mix tasty cocktails to round-out your holiday celebration.

A member of the first National Apprenticeship Program where he graduated as Valedictorian
(sponsored by the American Culinary Federation), Sendall studied as an apprentice at the School
for American Chefs in Beringer Vineyards, Napa Valley under Chef Madeleine Kanman recently. Sendall maintains a local and national clientele including the H.J. Heinz family, the Lerner family of Washington, D.C. and Pittsburgh philanthropists Henry and Elsie Hillman among others. Located in Pittsburgh’s historic Mexican War Streets, All in Good Taste Productions prepared meals for the G-20 World Leaders and their spouses when the Summit was held in Pittsburgh in 2009.


Joining Sendall for all three episodes will be his Executive Chef,  Nick Krug. A native of St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania, Krug has worked for the past 12 years as a chef. Krug started his career at St. Joseph’s Monastery working in the gardens and orchards at the age of 15 and credits this experience for fostering his appreciation and practice of using local and seasonal ingredients in his dishes.

WQED may produce additional episodes of Sendall Style for national distribution to public television stations around the country.
