Brownsville Announces Details for Annual Taste of Italy Festival

The sights and sounds of Italy set the scene for a very enjoyable evening at the 11th Annual Taste of Italy Wine & Food Tasting Event which takes place on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Frank Ricco Sons of Italy Lodge #731 in Brownsville, PA.  Come and receive a commemorative wineglass to enjoy the traditional homemade wines made by area winemakers while you sample the area’s culinary expertise with a large selection of tasty Italian appetizers made by volunteers.  There will be a raffle, a Chinese auction, and a basket of homemade wines auctioned before announcing the winners of the wine judging.


All proceeds from the event benefit the Brownsville Area Revitalization Corporation (BARC). The mission of the Brownsville Area Revitalization Corporation is to achieve economic development through historic preservation, heritage tourism, outdoor recreation, community stewardship, education, youth advancement and the arts.

Dress is casual.  Tickets are $35.00 and available at the BARC office, tickets at the door are $40.00. Tickets are also available for purchase through BARC Board Members.
