2014–2015 COHEN & GRIGSBY TRUST PRESENTS SERIES

Pittsburgh, PA ̶   The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces tickets will go on sale on Friday, August 22, at 9:00 a.m., EDT, for an exceptional season of events featuring area premieres and returning favorites by national and international performing artists for the 2014–2015 Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents series.  Music, dance, comedy, theater, and more will take place at various venues in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, as presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.  Tickets are available at www.TrustArts.org, by calling 412-456-6666, or in person at Theater Square Box Office, 655 Penn Avenue. PITTSBURGH, PA:  The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announced today that it will add a performance of the hit off-Broadway show Potted Potter - The Unauthorized Harry Experience-A Parody by Dan and Jeff, scheduled to be presented at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh, PA from November 20-24, 2013.  Due to the popularity of the show, the additional performance will take place on Saturday, November 23 st 5:00 p.m.

Tickets for the additional performance start at $45 and go on sale Friday, November 1st at 9:00 a.m.  For information, visit www.TrustArts.org, call (412) 456-6666, or visit in person at Theater Square Box Office, 655 Penn Avenue.  This performance is part of the Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents series.

ABOUT THE CREATIVE TEAM
Potted Potter is written and performed by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner with direction by Richard Hurst. The creative team includes Simon Scullion (Sets), Tim Mascall (Lighting), Phil Innes (Music), Richard Hurst (additional material) and Hanna Berrigan (Associate Director).

Dan Clarkson graduated from Bretton Hall in 2000 with a spring in his step and a smile on his face. He is best known for being one half of the double act Dan and Jeff, creators of both Potted Potter and Potted Pirates. Last year with Jeff, Dan had a fantastic time presenting on CBBC, appearing on Blue Peter and TMI as well as getting his first ever piece of fan mail! Other TV credits include Big Brother’s Little Brother, Where the Heart Is, Coronation Street andEmmerdale. Film includes The Usual Children, The Guilty Hunter and Finding Beckham. Theatre includes Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Little Shop of Horrors, Art and Sketch Machine.

Jefferson Turner graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2002, and after three years of various TIE, fringe and panto appearances met and started working with Dan in 2005. In the last five years, he has been an Ugly Sister, co-written and starred in Potted Potter and Potted Pirates, appeared on Newsnight, Richard & Judy and Big Brother’s Little Brother. With Dan he has carved a successful children’s TV career, starting with regular appearances on Blue Peter in 2005, and has since appeared on The Slammer and TMI, as well as being a permanent resident of the CBBC office for over a year, starting in 2008.
