Comedian Daniel Tosh Coming to Heinz Hall

Comedian Daniel Tosh brings ‘The June Gloom Tour’ to Heinz Hall

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m., Friday; Comedy Central star will perform 2 shows on June 12



PITTSBURGH – Live Nation and Comedy Central welcome “The June Gloom Tour” with Daniel Tosh and special guest, Jerrod Carmichael to Heinz Hall for two performances at 7 & 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 12.

Tickets, ranging from $49.50 - $75, go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 8. They can be purchased by calling the Heinz Hall box office at 412.392.4900, or visiting www.pittsburghsymphony.org.

The national tour kicks off May 30 in Salt Lake City and travels to more than 25 cities in the U.S.

Tosh.0 currently airs on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central and consists of 30 episodes throughout 2013.  The series premiered on June 4, 2009 and features the razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh and delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious in this weekly, topical series.

 Each episode includes Tosh giving subjects of notorious viral videos a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous with their very own "Web Redemption."

If you’ve resolved to put more fun in your life, start the year at Pittsburgh Public Theater with The Second City, the famed Chicago comedy troupe that launched the careers of Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, and many others. From January 5­–7, the next generation of The Second City’s best and brightest will perform the company’s trademark improvisation and hilarious sketch comedy in their new show, Laugh Out Loud! Featuring material that’s ripped from the morning headlines, classic gems from the archives, musical accompaniment and audience participation, The Second City’s shows are always fresh and cutting-edge.
