TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR PITTSBURGH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CINEMA SERENADE CONCERT
Concert features the return of renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman to Heinz Hall
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will kick off its 2015-2016 season in grand style on September 12 at 7 p.m. with violin superstar Itzhak Perlman returning to Heinz Hall to perform some of the most moving songs from the Silver Screen with Music Director Manfred Honeck.
Perlman and the orchestra will perform selections from “Cinema Serenade,” a 1997 recording on which Perlman, the Pittsburgh Symphony and conductor John Williams collaborated.
Concert-only tickets range in price from $35 to $150 and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at the Heinz Hall box office, online at pittsburghsymphony.org or by phone at 412-392-4900.
