Discover how much fun it is to sing with the Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus.

Our chorus is part of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of women singers who meet regularly to rehearse, socialize, perform and sing a cappella music, barbershop style.  Each week, Sweet Adelines International encourages women all over the world to reach their full singing potential.  There are unlimited training and educational opportunities as well as spectacular performance and entertainment possibilities.

Join us any Monday evening at 7 pm to experience the joy of singing with 65 other women.

Sounds of Pgh Chorus Donates to Wig Fund

The Sounds of Pittsburgh chorus has donated $400 to the Magee Women’s Cancer Center’s wig fund from the proceeds of the annual show.  Fifty dollars will be given to eight women to help them purchase an attractive wig. Information about Bonnie Diver’s wig charity fund, Hair Peace,  will also be given to them for more funding for those who cannot afford to purchase a wig and pay for cancer treatments.

Sounds of Pgh Chorus Open House Invitation

All over the globe, Sweet Adelines International choruses are joining together this January to teach the world to sing.  Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to the Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus Global Open House any Monday evening at 7:00 pm.  The Sounds of Pittsburgh chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of nearly 25,000 women worldwide who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style.

Our members share a love for music and fellowship singing barbershop harmony.  As a member, you too can experience the exhilaration of performing and singing with us.  Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of the chorus' musical leaders and director.

The Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable functions.  We are currently medalists in our region of this worldwide organization.

In honor of “Barbershop Appreciation Day” the Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus; Sweet Adelines International is extending an invitation to all women in the Tri-State area to join them on July 29th for a “Christmas in July” rehearsal.

In addition to learning Christmas songs in four-part barbershop harmony to appear with the chorus on their December 14th annual show, those who attend the five rehearsals prior to September 1st will be invited to sing the National Anthem at PNC Park for the Pirate game.
