JEWISH LES MISERABLES STAR TO HOLD CONCERT IN PITTSBURGH

PITTSBURGH—David “Dudu” Fisher’s (best known for his role as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables on Broadway) Dudu Fisher: in Concert from Israel will premiere Monday, November 26 at 8 p.m. on WQED-TV.

This program is a collection of Broadway tunes and traditional and contemporary Israeli songs performed by Dudu at the Beit Sha’an amphitheater in Israel including selections from: Les Miserables; Fiddler on the Roof; Exodus and Yentl (“Papa Can You Hear Me?”); Hatikvah (the Israeli national anthem); and Kol Nidrei (a traditional Jewish prayer and cantorial melody.
