PITTSBURGH (March 21, 2012) Pittsburgh Public Theater presents Mark Brown’s adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days, the classic story by Jules Verne. Tony-nominated director Marcia Milgrom Dodge will stage this entertaining adventure that runs April 12 – May 13, 2012 at the O’Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater’s home in the heart of Downtown’s Cultural District. Jules Verne was born in France in 1828. He became a prolific and acclaimed writer of science fiction and fantasy books, including Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and A Journey to the Center of the Earth, which are still popular today. Mark Brown is an actor and writer who currently lives in New York.
