Who: Pittsburgh Opera Head of Music Glenn Lewis, with tenor Joseph Gaines and musicians from the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra

What: An All-Schubert program, featuring the Four Impromptus and the “Trout” Quintet

When: Sunday, December 11, 5:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:45 p.m.

Where: Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters, 2425 Liberty Avenue, in the Strip District

Admission: Admission is free. No RSVP required.

Pittsburgh, PA… Pittsburgh Opera Head of Music Glenn Lewis anchors an all-Schubert program in a recital in the George Rowland White Opera Studio at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters. The first half features the Four Impromptus for Piano, Op. 90, and selected songs with tenor Joseph Gaines. After a brief intermission, Mr. Lewis is joined by Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra musicians Juan Jaramillo, violin; Jennifer Gerhard, viola; Elisa Kohanski, cello, and Jeffrey Mangone, double bass, for the popular “Trout” Quintet.
