CHRIS FENNIMORE COOKS UP MOUTH-WATERING DISHES IN
‘B’ IS FOR BACON, WQED’S NEXT COOKING MARATHON
PITTSBURGH- WQED’s latest cooking marathon is serving a delicious variety of bacon themed recipes in ‘B’ is for Bacon, airing on Saturday, February 28th at 10 a.m. on WQED-TV
Viewers sent in their favorite bacon recipes to help create a cookbook of more than 100 bacon recipes. Host Chris Fennimore says, “In many ways it’s one of the most basic comfort foods,” and demonstrates bacon is not only for breakfast. From appetizers, soups and salads, to main courses, pasta, desserts and even candy, ‘B’ is for Bacon will be sizzling in the kitchen. Featured on-air recipes such as Bacon Asiago Polenta, Bacon and Nutella French Toast, and Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos show the sweet and savory sides of this favorite food.
‘B’ is for Bacon is one of over 100 WQED cooking marathons produced since 1993.
