The Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) purchases more than $4.5 billion in goods and services each year and establishes procurement policy/procedures for most Commonwealth agencies. The Department’s Bureau of Procurement acts as the purchasing agency for statewide requirements contracts and for purchase orders for supplies in excess of $20,000 and for services in excess of $250,000.
