Pittsburgh’s Home Town Girls Use Big Business Branding

PITTSBURGH, March 15, 2013 – The sixth, annual NAWBO Day Pittsburgh will celebrate the achievements of Pittsburgh’s home-town girls who use big-business branding to move their businesses and the Pittsburgh-area economy. The event will take place on March 22, 2013 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh/Greentree, from 8:00 a.m.to 3:30 p.m.

This year’s NAWBO Day, themed “Think GINORMOUS™-- Big Business Branding for Small Business,” will feature these local, national, and international speakers who will address the key aspects of business branding. Local speakers include:

Breaks the World Record for Largest Group Hug in a Tent


 PITTSBURGH, PA, August 2012 – Hug-a-Thon Pittsburgh™ Day broke the world record for the Largest Group Hug in a Tent on August 11, 2012, when 73 Pittsburghers came together to hug each other all at once under the tent in Schenley Park. On September 6, Pittsburgh hugs the world and home-town charities. During the day, you can get a hug at one of four downtown locations. Hugs are free! But we are raising money for four charities: Cancer Caring Center, Sickle Cell Society, Pittsburgh Passion’s Passion for Life, and Operation Troop Appreciation. In the evening join our FUN gala at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites. Pittsburgh Downtown. Plus, enjoy hugs from local celebrities, sports stars, local legends, and hugger winners. Join us for dancing, entertainment, a silent auction, and a classic Pittsburgh foods dinner.
