Local nominations needed for annual Small Business Week Awards, help showcase a small business owner or advocate
PITTSBURGH – It’s time for a small business owner or advocate to take center stage.
Small businesses owners who are helping drive Western Pennsylvania’s economy can be nominated for the prestigious U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) annual Small Business Week awards competition.
Since 1963, the SBA has set aside a week – National Small Business Week – to honor the nation’s small business owners and advocates. Awards ceremonies, held on both local and national levels, are an ideal way for community leaders to honor small business owners who often are touted as the backbone of the nation’s economy.
